He was predeceased by: his mothers, Patsy LaPorta and Philomena LaPorta; his wife Florence LaPorta; and his sister Mary Lou Tower. He is survived by: his children, Michele Freeman (Donald) and Patrick LaPorta; his grandchildren, Danielle Hafner (Craig), Jared Freeman, Katherine LaPorta, Cara LaPorta and John LaPorta; his great grandchild Vincent Hafner; and his sister Cynthia Labarge (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
