He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaFore Sr. and Lillian LaFore (Stammel); his wife Marilyn LaFore; and his daughter Lori Van Auken. He is survived by: his daughters, Shari Degele and Debra Cohen. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
