He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Braungart and Helen Lynch Braungart Seaman; his wife Millicent; his son-in-law Jay Carmody; and his siblings, Francis, Helen, Edmund and Joan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline Braungart Carmody and Susan Maulucci (David); his sister Ann Shave (Jim); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Braungart. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 3 bonus grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.
