Grace M. McKeone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace M. McKeone of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grace M. McKeone to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Sollohub and John O'Malley; her stepfather Ted Sollohub; her stepbrother Ted Sollohub; her husband Walter; and her children, Walter B. McKeone, Jr. and Kourtney McKeone-O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly McKeone (Nathan Eden) of Albany and Kyle McKeone of Schenectady; and her sister Marylou VanVranken of Kissimmee, FL. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She recuperated at the Sunset Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Venice during the Covid-19 lockdown, unfortunately unable to see Walter again before his passing in 2022.
Grace would be honored by donations to Kiwanis International (http://www.kiwanis.org), an organization with which she volunteered for several years to improve the lives of children in need.
