It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward S. Dixon (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dixon and Marion Dixon; and his sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Carol Davis; his children, Edward Dixon (Wendy) of Rotterdam, Kenneth Dixon (Melissa) of New Jersey, Michael Dixon (Cheryl) of Warners, NY and Kathryn Hamblet (Bruce Greeley) of Rotterdam; his grandchildren, Georgia, Grant, Alyssa, Juliana, Mikey, Hayley (Tito), Joseph (Katie) and David; his great grandchild Jackson Dixon; his siblings, James Dixon (Dina), Richard Dixon, Mary Alys Prostak and John Dixon (Mary); his brothers-in-law, Paul Gauvin and William Gauvin; and his niece Rebecca Santoli.
