It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James VanBenschoten of Saugerties, New York, born in Suffern, New York, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton VanBenschoten and Irene VanBenschoten (Lynch); and his wife Joyce D. Griswold. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Ciaccio (Tony) of Apex, NC and Julie McHugh of Glasco, NY; his grandchildren, Kristina of Nicholas, AJ, Drew, Grace and Lilly; and his siblings, Thomas VanBenschoten (Sandy) and Patricia Stephenson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can made in honor of Jim to the church.
