He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Breithaupt and Ethel Wolven Breithaupt; and his siblings, Ward, Kenneth, Jack Breithaupt, Ethel Gilmore, Dorothy Flanigan, Olive Minkler and Jean Sparling.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Dolly" Misasi; his children, Brian Breithaupt (Debra) and Carol Ann Mayone (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Matthew (Kathy Breithaupt), Raymond Mayone, Alexis and Kevin (Suzanne Mayone).

Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Glasco Fire Co., Diaz Ambulance or Hospice.
