It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Missasi of Saugerties, New York, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Missasi and Patt Tesoro Missasi; his son Anthony David; his sister-in-law Jane Birdsall; and his mother-in-law Vera Birdsall.

He is survived by: his son Philip (Kaitlyn Missasi) of Saugerties; his wife Diane Birdsall; his daughter Rebecca (William D. O'Reilly); his siblings, Michael Missasi (Sheila) of California, Michale Missasi of Saugerties, Jeri Dernison (John) of Lake Katrine, Leslie Duffy (Ed) of Saugerties and Annette Murphy (Brian) of Saugerties; his grandchildren, Claire, Samuel O'Reilly, Hadley and Nora Missasi; and his sister-in-law Eileen Stier of Poughkeepsie.
