She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Katy Anna Smith (Wes); her grandchildren, Kaylee and Levi; her sister Deborah Meyers (Roy); her nieces and nephews, Yael Lisa Meyers (Seth) and Sarah Meyers (Benjamin); her great-nephews, Abraham and Eli; and her parents, Abraham Goldin and Jessica Goldin.
Early on, Women's Day magazine featured Laura for her charity "Manna from Heaven," which arranged a network of volunteers to pick up food at grocery stores and restaurants and deliver it to local food pantries.
