He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeConno and Margaret DeConno (Jaso); and his daughter Lisa Marie Russo (DeConno). He is survived by: his wife Diane (DeLong); his sons, Joseph DeConno, Jr. (Jennifer) and David DeConno (Jessica); his grandchildren, Christina, Jenelle, John, Marley, Anthony, Kaden, Logan and Avery; his great grandchildren, Everly, Lucy and Porter; and his sister Patricia Goodness.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Hideaway Restaurant (35 Grace Moore Rd, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Joe's memory.
