He was predeceased by: his parents, George Summersell and Gertrude Summersell; his wife Julie; his daughter Melanie Sesera; his sister Serena Tatum; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Tatum, Ed Mattson, Bonnie and Jack McCarthy.
He is survived by: his children, Charley, George "Dan" Summersell of Scotia, NY, Julie Summersell of Scotia, NY and Charles Summersell (Sonya) of Ballston Spa, NY.; his grandchildren, Robert Pulsifer, Jr. (Lauren) of Gansevoort, NY, Danielle Summersell (John O'Donnell) of Greenwich, NY, Jordan Summersell (Amanda) of Cambridge, NY, Elijah Summersell (Jen) of Charlton, NY and Matthew Sesera (Jessica) of Wilmington, NC; and his sister-in-law Jean Mattson of Munising, Michigan. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
