He was predeceased by: his parent Christian Mathiesen, Sr.; and his siblings, Jack Mathiesen, Frank Codling and Nancy Fraser. He is survived by: his child Chris; his sister Diane Bartlett; his sister-in-law Marcia Codling; and his children, Christian E Mathiesen, Pamela Pasciucco (Peter), Mary Ellen Mathiesen-Tyrrell (Bernie), Anne Macrae (Mike) and Karen Tobin (Craig). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.
