He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Schaffer and Dorothy Schaffer (Zeber); his children, Kiya and Sasha; his siblings, Carey Stanely and Andy Schaffer; and his children, Ruth Schaffer, Aaron Schaffer, Lauren Duncan and Mischa. He was also cherished by his three children.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the LPYAA (Lake Placid Youth Athletic Association) in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
