He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Oliver; his siblings, William Oliver, Ruth Tucker and Mary Shumway; his daughter Lisa Oliver; his stepdaughter Norma Rock; and his son-in-law Paul Moody.
He is survived by: his parents, Murray Oliver and Lena Oliver (Secord); his brother Ronald Oliver; his stepchild Donald Oliver (Cynthia); his granddaughter Jane Shanty (Bruce); and his stepgrandchild Hannah.
