He was predeceased by: his parent Stanley Starr; his wife Janilen Zarzecki (Carter); and his stepdaughter Kathleen Carney. He is survived by: his parent Monica Starr (Mageira); his son Michael Zarzecki of Olean; his stepdaughter Jolene Moores (Carney) of Maryland; and his sisters, Betty Anderson and Isadora MacLeod.
