She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Caponera and Joyce Caponera (Carbary); her brother Robert J. Caponera; and her sister-in-law Susan Caponera. She is survived by: her husband James F. Carter; her children, Tabitha L. Carter (Terry Staves) of Little Falls, Samantha R. Carter of St. Johnsville and Joseph A. Carter of St. Johnsville; her grandsons, Dominic J. and Caleb W. Douglass; her siblings, Linda Caponera of California, Albert Caponera (Debbie) of St. Johnsville, David Caponera (Mamie) of Massachusetts and Thomas Caponera (Melissa) of St. Johnsville; and her parents-in-law, Edna Carter of St. Johnsville, Richard Carter, Sharon Flanders, Roger, Joan Carter and Ellen Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
