He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Smith and Edward H. L. Smith; his siblings, Moira Scheuring, Libby Smith, Richard, Edmund, Daniel and Susanne Smith; his nephew Michael Scheuring; his nieces, Cathy Smith and Mary Smith; and his great-nephew Caleb Scheuring.
