She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Barbara Simon Greene (Wyonne), Glenda Simon Joseph (Robert), Vanessa Hines (Daniel), Gregory Simon, Mark Simon, Willie Simon, Jr. (Greta), Eric Simon (Lorraine) and Michael Simon. She was also cherished by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; two special children, Timicka Bordeaux and Mark Simon, Jr. who were raised inside her home; one brother, Alvin Nixon (Margret) from Wilmington, NC; two sisters-in-law, Wilemina Nixon from Wilmington, NC, and Margie Bramlette from Wilmington, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
