He is survived by: his father Homer; his uncle Hoyt; his brother Ronald Ackles (Carol) of Rose Hill; his sister-in-law Mary Miller of Marcellus; and his daughters, Beth Bennett (William), Susan Carr (Ronald) and Cynthia Spann (Michael). He is also survived by the extended family are many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
