He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Flaherty and Agnes Flaherty; and his brothers, Vincent and Brian. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Flaherty; and his siblings, Gail Cornacchia, Sr., Arlene Flaherty O. P. and Dennis. He is also survived by his nine children and thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
