He was predeceased by: his father Charles H. Russell; and his brother James Russell (Jimmy). He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Russell (Schimko); his wife Brenda Russell (Taylor) of Rhinebeck; his children, Kaitlin Rodas (Byron), Jonathan Russell (Erin), Stacie Gogger (Michael Friedrich) and Steven Gogger (Becky); his grandchildren, Claire, Micah, Micaiah Rodas, Natalie, Andrew Russell, Ava, Emily Friedrich, Cody and Owen Gogger; his sisters, Kathy Yanek (Ken) and Patricia Cowell (Paul); and his close friend Larry Komenda (Captain Lorenzo). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Neighbors' Gun Club or Hillside Fire Department, Rhinebeck. Donations may also be made in Ken's memory to the National Wild Turkey Federation, Northern Catskills Long Beards Chapter.
