He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lyman and William. He is survived by: his parents, Hattie Mae Dedrick and Oscar E. Allen; his spouse Annan Murray; his children, Mark and Laure Hay; and his grandchildren, Monica Allen and Corey Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County Baseball Hall of Fame.
