It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Mahoney (Red Hook, New York), born in Southampton, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mortimer Mahoney and Mabel Mahoney; his brothers, Mort and Charlie; his parents-in-law, Philip and Juanita O'Brien; his son-in-law Gene Kleinsmith; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Mahoney, Joan Mahoney, Muriel O'Brien, Mary Fairburn, Philip O'Brien, TJ O'Brien and Don Fairburn.
He is survived by: his wife Therese; his children, Mary Ann (Charlie), Michael (Kathy), Kathleen, Patrick (Cindy), Tracy (late Gene) and Timothy (Seda); his grandchildren, John (Sophia), William, Taryn, Alyssa, Christopher, Sophie, Grace, Ian, Charlie and Maggie; his great grandchild Stella; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth O'Brien, Juanita McCormick and Clifford McCormick. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
