It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathew Kurdziel of Red Hook, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurdziel and Rose Kurdziel (Chrusciel). He is survived by: his wife Frances Amerigo; his sons, John (Karen Kurdziel), Matthew (Barbara Roberts Kurdziel) and Christopher Kurdziel of Jacksonville, FL; and his siblings, Helen Puccio, John Kurdziel and Joseph Gadzinski. He is also survived by three granddaughters; five grandsons; and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mathew's memory to the Hudson Valley Hospice-Foundation, 80 Washington Ave., Suite 204, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 or to St Christopher's Church, Red Hook, NY 12571.
