It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm T Cooney of Red Hook, New York, born in Cold Spring, New York, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sabina Cooney; and his parents, Francis Cooney and Mary Cooney (Williams). He is survived by: his children, Laura Amesse, Sheri Cooney (Rob Pagano) and Thomas Cooney (Beverly); his stepdaughters, Margaret Michele Cuomo-Gerace (Phillip) and Melanie Delage (Kenneth); his sister Linda Cooney Pulver; his grandchildren, Elijah Montalvo, Antonio Montalvo, Faith Ruiz-Guido, Kaleb Evans-Cooney, Shawn Cooney, Ryan Traudt, Matthew Cooney, Rachelle Dettner, Marc Mastro and Adam Russell; his stepgrandchildren, Michele Elizabeth, Michael Dam, Brian, Kyle Delage, Camden and Jack Gerace-Hague; and his pet Jake. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; extended family, friends.
