He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Simmons; and his siblings, Elizabeth Abney, Laura Rhodes, Howard, Richard and Edward Simmons.
He is survived by: his parent Mabel Simmons (Overbaugh); his wife Gloria R. Simmons of Red Hook, NY; his niece Laura Pflum (Philip) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his nephews, Richard Simmons (Grace) of Marlboro, NY, James Simmons of Tivoli, NY and Paul Simmons of Tivoli, NY.
