He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Slingerland and Helen Slingerland (Voelxen); and his sister Karen E. Tully. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla "Penny" Bartholomew; his daughter Erica Slingerland of Pawleys Island, SC; his grandson Patrick T. McGowan of Red Hook, NY; his niece Elizabeth Goff of Boise, ID; and his nephews, John Tully of Phoenix, AZ and Matthew Tully of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by several cousins, and countless friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Alan's memory to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
