With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Whalen of Queensbury, New York, born in Whitehall, New York, who passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whalen and Sarah Whalen (LaFrance); and his brothers, Donald, Douglas and Alton Whalen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Branch; his nieces and nephews, Linda Alimo (Able) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Bruce Douglas (Dena), Sharron Whalen of Menton, Ala. and B. Joseph Whalen (Theresa) of Menton, Ala.; and his close friends, John Sheets (Queensbury), William Doster (Lake George) and Dan Colon (Queensbury).
