She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Morehouse and Beatrice Morehouse (Ovitt); her husband Elmer Alger; her daughters, Marie Lettus and Dortha Wells; her sister Dora Washburn; her half-brothers, Gerald and Owen Swanson; her stepsisters, Dorothy Towers, Alma Wheaton and Mary Osterhout; and her son-in-law Timothy "Bo" Lettus.
She is survived by: her son Raymond Alger Sr. (Teddi); her sisters, Kathryn Pike and Lynda Brackley; her grandchildren, Angela Jarvis (Frank), Raymond Alger Jr. (Liz), Michelle Lettus, Melissa Wells, Timothy Alger (Jen) and Josh Alger (Kim); and her close friend June Woodard. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
