He is survived by: his wife Carmen Balboa; his children, Maria Isabel Gil (Jose) of Cos Cob, CT and Gene Balboa, MD (Diane) of Armonk, NY; his sister Albina Balboa Treinta of Spain; his grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Steven Gil, Genevieve and Philip Balboa; and his great grandchildren, Andrea and Damian Gil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
