He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Horton and Bertha Fowler Horton Sr.; his wife Arlene Miller Horton; his great grandchild Jameson J. Schuman; and his brother Bernard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Franklin (Scott) of Troy and Rae-Ann Vooris (Tom) of Poestenkill; his girlfriend Marcia Watson of Cohoes; his brother Charles H. Horton Jr. of Cohoes; his grandchildren, Samantha Schuman (Nick), Tabitha Vooris and Kyle (Kaela); his great grandchildren, Raelyn, Emmett Thompson and Kiernan Franklin; and his sister Bernice Horton.
