He is survived by: his parents, James Brunet and Marsha Brunet (Figart); his wife Shari-Ellyn Brunet (Jock); his siblings, Terry Brunet and Tami Laduke (Tim); and his pets, Rocky, Lyla and Suzie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the UVM-CVPH HK Freedman Renal Center.
