It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra J. Gero of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Baker and Mildred Baker; her husband Richard Gero; her brothers, John Schwank and Ron Schwank (Ann Schwank); her nephew Brent Baker; and her grandmother Lilian Baker.
She is survived by: her son John (Mandy Fountain Jr.) of Saranac; her grandchildren, John, Susan Fountain III of AuSable, Brent, Nicole Fountain of Keeseville, Alexis Fountain (Troy Burdick) of Plattsburgh, Jasmine, Keegan Fountain (Destiny Booth), Shania Fountain, MaKayla Fountain Leeann Fountain, Ashley Seymore (Josh Warren) of Peru and Gabrielle Dandrow of Plattsburgh; her great grandchildren, Trinity Fountain, Wyatt Fountain, Abigail Fountain, Caroline Fountain, Elianna Fountain, Bellinger Burdick, Haley Stevens, Lainee Geppner, Kamden Geppner, Laikyn Neyer and Zaery McCoy; her brother Norman Baker (Renee Baker); and also Lori Elder of Peru Church. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
