It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Phaneuf (Plattsburgh, New York), born in Chazy, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Varin and Catherine Varin (Dubrey); her husband Bernard R. Phaneuf Sr.; and her sisters, Barbara Carey and Genevieve Miner.

She is survived by: her children, Bernard R. Phaneuf Jr. (Terry) and Nicole Cragle (Eric) of Morrisonville; her sister Catherine Roberts (Donald); her sister-in-law Sandra Bibeau (Florent); her granddaughters, Jacqueline Collicutt (Daniel), Victoria Duval (Corey), Katelyn and Allyson Cragle; her stepgranddaughter Erin Kellar (Scott-Michael); and her stepgreat-granddaughter Chloe Kellar. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces and many friends.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Outreach Center, PO Box 159, Morrisonville, NY 12962.
