He is survived by: his children, John Stiefel, Ollie Martinez and Kandy Mannix; his niece Christina; his nephew Eric; his great-niece Kendal; his great-nephews, Blake Alger, Joshua Vanier and Andrew Vanier; his extended family, Russ and Carrie Coutere; his sister MacKenzie Smith (Donovan Laplante) of Troy; his friend Bob Mason of Troy; his pet Chloe; and also, Carolyn Vanier (Pandozy) and Bridget Vanier (Alger).
