It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice P. Pauling of Plattsburgh, New York, born in Newport, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Perkins and Florence Perkins (Bly); her husband Norman W. Pauling Jr. (Bill); her brother Richard Perkins; and her son Philip M. Pauling.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen Pauling-Shepard (Bruce) of Calgary; her daughter-in-law Patricia Pauling of Adams, NY.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Schwartz (Mitch), Andrew, Jacob, Zachary and Harrison; and her great grandchild Adeline Schwartz. She is also survived by niece, and several nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Norman Pauling Endowment Fund c/o SUNY Plattsburgh, the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, or the Charity of your choice.
