He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bedard and Rosa Bedard (Martin); his siblings, Theresa Giroux, Rita Lushia and Andrew Bedard; his stepson Floyd "Butch" Smallarz; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Giroux, Emery Lushia, Roswell Depo, Bernard Ducharme, Robert Williams, Sr. and Rosie Bedard.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Stephen, Brian and James; his stepsons, Christopher, Michael and Jeffrey Smallarz; his sisters, Irene Williams, Rose Ducharme and Jean Depo; his brother-in-law James Beaubriand; his grandchildren, Marah Dashnaw, Holly, Isabella and Gaven Bedard; and his great grandchild Wren Dashnaw.
