He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Q. MacDougal and Margaret MacDougal (Shambo); his brother Mike MacDougal; and his niece Ashley MacDougal. He is survived by: his siblings, Cary MacDougal Friday, Kevin, Tim, Fred and Harold MacDougal; his uncles, Robert and Donald Shambo; his aunt Joan MacDougal; and his close friend Mark LaPine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
