It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Giroux of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy A. Giroux to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Nellie; her husband Donald Giroux; her son Ronald E. Giroux; and her siblings, Clifford Burdo and Irene Trombley.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Giroux (Rosalind) and Sheryl Moore (Gerald); her siblings, Homer Burdo, Lillian Cayea, Bertha Forette and Edna McCabe; and her grandchildren, Michael Giroux (Laura), Kenneth Giroux (Tiffany), Tori Madejczyk (Michael), Brendan Moore and Liam Moore. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the CVPH Medical Center Foundation.
