Constance Durkee Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Constance Durkee of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away at the age of 90, on October 12, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Durkee (LaClair) and Eugene Durkee; her sisters, Jacqueline McCormick (Richard) and Nancy Cooper (Albert); and her nephew Eugene Cooper.
She is survived by: her close friends, Bridget, Kiltie and Bryn; and her nieces and nephews, Lynn O'Meara, Michael McCormick, Richard McCormick, Jennifer Knapp, Diana Anderson and Peter McCormick.
Connie was a member of the National Ski Patrol and served at various Northern New York ski areas; a member of the Program/Membership committee for the Plattsburgh YMCA; a member of the Beartown Ski Area Board of Directors, serving as Public Relations Chair; and an instructor in the osteoporosis exercise class with RSVP.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Beartown Ski Area, The Plattsburgh YMCA, or the Elmore SPCA.
