She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Runyon and Pansy Runyon Jr. (Painter). She is survived by: her husband James Brhel; her daughter Sharon McGarr (Steven); her siblings, Roy Runyon (Bonnie), Ed Runyon, Scott Runyon (Tasha), Dave Mathers (Lisa), Ginny Runyon, Kelly (Dakin), Lisa (Jim) and Linda (Mike); and her grandson Matthew McGarr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
