He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Violet; his son Aldebaran; and his sisters, Kathleen Mohl and Mary Ann Bordeaux.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wojdyla; his daughter Deneb Howard (David); and his grandchildren, Owen, Aurora, Colby and Nova. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
