He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bartsch and Ernestine Bartsch (Frankel). He is survived by: his sister Amy Dorscheid (Bob); his nieces, Emily Dorscheid, Annette Stewart (Demond) and Michelle Dargusch (Mike); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audrey, Izaiah, Shannon, Giovanni, Sammy and Joey.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
