He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Colgan and Jack Colgan; his parents-in-law, Betty and Steve Remis; his brother Sammy; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Ellis, Rick Remis, Nuala and Ann Colgan.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Colgan; his daughters, Nora Franklin (Malcolm), Deirdre Howe (John) and Brigid Colgan (Dom); his grandchildren, Casey, Taylor, Ailish, Colm, Shea, Dommy and Roisin; his siblings, Brian (Pearl), John (Marguerite), Marie Ellis and Pat; and also America.
