He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Shepard; his grandson Jacob Peter Koomen, Jr.; and his sister Gre Koomen. He is survived by: his wife Ann; and his children, Ted Koomen (Sharron) of Missouri, Lia O'Connor (Mark), Tina Reitz (Howard) and Jack Koomen (Kristyne) of Michigan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family with many nieces and nephews.
