She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Scheetz; her son John E. Scheetz, Jr.; her parents, Charles Aplin and Ada Aplin; and her siblings, Leroy Aplin, Charles Aplin, Albert Aplin, Kathleen Van Lare and Mary Bult.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Scheetz, David Scheetz (Amanda) and Michael Scheetz (Deborah); her grandchildren, Spencer Scheetz, John Scheetz, Katherine Kemp (Danilo Kempf), Rebecca Scheetz, Alexander Scheetz and Abigail Scheetz; and her great grandchild Odeya Ellen Kempf. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lutheran Services in America, the Lasting Change Campaign, which supports improving care in older adults.
