She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her parents, Edwin Kirst and Catherine Kirst; her siblings, Raymond, Howard, Robert, Carl and Marian Koelmel; her son Theodore; and her granddaughter Annie.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Katherine), Ronald (Peggy), Donna Desmarais (Drew), William (Lily) and Mary Albert (Timothy); her daughter-in-law Mary Schmidt; and her siblings, Jack Kirst (Jean), Eileen Cottet and Jane Kruger (Don). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
