She was predeceased by: her brother Herbert Liebowitz. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Gorowitz; her daughters, Ellen Gorowitz (James Rooney) of Arlington and Marjorie Shields (Brian Shields) of Delmar; her brother Dr. Martin Liebowitz (Marion) of East Setauket; and her granddaughters, Vanessa and Leora Rooney.
