We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Dana E. McAbee of Phelps, New York, born in Greer, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McAbee and Mary Elizabeth Seay McAbee; and his sister Linda McAbee Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Backus McAbee of Phelps; his daughters, Kristy Mitch (Andy) of Phelps and Jamie Everhart of Phelps; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Lopez (Adrian), Grace Kennedy, Zachary and Ava Everhart; his great grandchildren, Braedan, Grayson and Elliana Lopez; his sister Beverly Hearn (Ray) of Charlotte, N. C.; and his friends, Jiggy and Rosie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews extended family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10:00 a. m. on Friday (May 21) at the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main Street, Phelps. (Social distancing is still being observed and masks are required inside the funeral home).
