He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur M., Sr. and Carmen C. Purick (Gurke); his wife Kathleen Moran; and his son Keith Purick. He is survived by: his children, William Purick (Cheryl), David Purick (Darcy) and Sue Purick (James Terry); and his siblings, Conrad Purick (Gail) and Penny Purick.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA in Peru.
